Beginner — Apprentice Painter
No experience required. All you need is the heart of a learner.
You'll learn how to set up a job from the moment you walk up to a customer's home, and exactly which tools you need for each part of the project. We'll teach you to be detailed, focused, and ultimate-prep-level ready: protecting surfaces, scraping, dusting, vacuuming, caulking, filling holes, priming, taping lines, and painting surfaces properly, cleanly, and neatly. You're responsible for staying organized and leaving every jobsite cleaner than we found it. We welcome your creativity through all of it — but the biggest responsibility a beginner has is humility in learning.

- You move up when: your prep passes inspection without rework, your lines are clean, and the crew can count on you every morning
Intermediate — Finish Painter
2+ years' experience or proven skills — we test with a brush, not a resume.
You cut crisp lines without tape, handle drywall and plaster repair, deliver finish work on trim, doors, and cabinets, hold exterior prep to our standard, work independently from a punch list, and help teach the beginners the Cavelli way.

Crew Leader
You are carrying the Cavelli flag. You are creating the culture on the jobsite. You are the pillar of what this company represents.
You can fix anything — experienced with paint, stains, and every skill it takes to prep and finish. You run the job: the craft, the crew, and the customer. Planning the jobsite, managing materials, quality-control walkthroughs, customer walkthroughs and change requests, solving the surprises old houses throw at us, and closing every job with a final punch list and photos.
